Student group hosts blood drive

Weston National Honor Society will help hold a blood drive from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 15.

The Blood Center of Wisconsin will be set up in the Weston High School Gym, E2511 Highway S, Cazenovia. The Blood Center supplies blood to Reedsburg Area Medical Center and the Richland hospital.

Anyone who is 16 or older may donate, but students need parent or guardian permission. Permission slips are available in the Weston High School office.

Donors are encouraged to schedule an appointment by visiting bit.ly/givedec15 or calling 877-232-4376.

Before donating, be sure to eat a healthy meal and drink plenty of water. Face coverings will be required. Donors will also receive COVID-19 antibody testing.
