2026, at the Reedsburg Area Medical Center. He was born on November 12, 1936, in Richland Center, Wisconsin, the son of Joseph and Christina (Mislivecek) Plachetka.
Plain/Honey Creek--Jeanette A. (Jan) Emer, formerly of Plain and Honey Creek, passed into eternal life on Friday, October 9, 2026. Jan was born on February 14, 1940, in Baraboo, the daughter of Herbert and Era (Schwanke) Jaedike, and grew up on the family farm in Honey Creek.
LaVerne (Verne) Edward Siverling, age 74 of Reedsburg, Wisconsin passed away peacefully on September 22, 2026 and passed into eternal glory (at Reedsburg Area Medical Center) after many years of health struggles.
David Earl Hoege, age 82, of Reedsburg, Wisconsin, passed away on September 10, 2026, at his son’s home in Madison. David was born in Reedsburg on March 31, 1944, to Maurice R. and Gladys (Westenhaver) Hoege. He was the fourth of their children and the firstborn twin sons.
Zanthia Jean Losic was born on November 7, 2003, in Reedsburg, Wisconsin, the daughter of Lindsay M. (Gates) Loomis and Jeremiah J. Losic. She was a 2022 graduate of Baraboo High School and was a student at the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater.
