Weston School District highlights technical education

The Weston School District has celebrated technical paths available to students.

It recently spotlighted two students.

Evan Moe, a junior, is participating in the Youth Apprenticeship Program. He is working at Sunset Sandblasting.

Masks optional but recommended at Wisconsin Heights

In a letter to parents this week, the Wisconsin Heights School District announced it would be going to “masking recommended” guidance going forward. With the expiration of the Dane County mask mandate, there are no guidelines requiring masks at school. District Administrator Jordan Sinz explained in the letter:

The February Above The Line theme was “Empathy.”  The students listed below received awards on Friday, February 25, from their classroom teacher or staff who felt that they are an individual that is empathetic toward others.  Congratulations to these students!

A student organization at Weston High School has achieved a major milestone this year.

St. Peter’s School releases second-quarter honor roll

St. Peter’s Lutheran School is recognizing students who did well academically for the latest quarter.

They are as follows.

Black Earth Elementary site sold

The Wisconsin Heights School District is in the real estate market as it attempts to sell the Black Earth and Mazomanie Elementary school sites. On December 13, the board approved the purchase of the Black Earth Elementary site to TKSK Enterprises.
